Text in Slide Master does not appear on every slide due to unique.
Cause:
When the title text on the Slide Master is changed, other slides are not updated with the same title because PowerPoint is designed for every slide to have a unique title. The Slide Master just provides the format (i.e., font, point size, and color) for each new slide title.
Solution:
Delete the title object from the 'Slide Master', and use the 'Text Tool' to create the desired title.
To get the title to appear on every slide:
1) Move to Slide Master view:
a) Select the 'View' menu and select 'Master'. (A submenu appears.)
b) Select 'Slide Master'.
2) Delete the title object from the Slide Master:
a) Select the title object placeholder. (Handles appear around the selection box.)
b) Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Cut'. (The title object is deleted.)
3) Use the 'Text Tool' to create the desired title:
a) Click 'Text Tool' toolbar button (with the 'A' on it) from the 'Drawing' toolbar.
Text Tool button
